Le Throstle
About Le Throstle
Le Throstle is a 90 m British freighter wreck that sank in 1919 after striking a rock on the Helle plateau. The wreck sits on a white sandy bottom with a flattened deck, with two vertical boilers that are completely open beside nearby rocky peaks. The site lies next to rocks covered in marine growth including pearl anemones, daisies, and alcyon. A shoal of pout is often seen around the bridge area.
