Use a Juara-area dive center; the site is normally run as a boat dive from the jetty side.
Temedor is a boat-access wall dive near Tioman Juara Jetty, with branching corals, new coral growth, and a healthy reef ecosystem. The wall and coral band support wrasse, nudibranchs, octopus, loggerhead turtles, and other small-life subjects, while the site opens out onto a more exposed edge. It is best on settled days, because the same headland can pick up waves quickly when weather turns.
Conservative baseline from public research. No community dives logged yet.
Depth range, seasonality, and planning context.
Reported Depth
10m - 30m
Depth Note
The drop-off runs around the giri from the shallower coral band down to the low-30 m range.
Best Season
March to May and September to November
Typical Conditions
Currents are generally weak, with best visibility in the shoulder seasons; waves can build quickly if weather deteriorates.
Hazards, restrictions, and access requirements.
Key Hazards
Safety Notes
Keep an eye on buoyancy as the wall steepens, and avoid the site when weather is building. The exposed edge can turn rough faster than the sheltered side of Juara.
Access Restrictions
Boat access and operator timing matter; plan the dive through a local Juara operator.
Legal Notes
Follow Tioman Marine Park rules and the operator’s boat brief.
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
Described as a wall dive site.
Freediving
Not a primary freedive target; the wall and wave exposure suit scuba better.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling is secondary; the coral band and wall are better experienced on scuba.
