West-coast shore site north of town with beginner-friendly shallows, but current and surface movement still deserve a check before committing to a longer swim.

About Andrea I

Andrea I is a north-of-town Bonaire shore reef with easy shallows, a long coral slope, and enough life in the wave-break zone to reward a slow start. It is commonly used by newer divers and snorkelers, with anemones, soft corals, big parrotfish, moray eels, and the occasional seahorse giving the site more character than its calm first impression suggests. Conditions still need a proper check before entry. Current can shift along this stretch, and the coral-rubble shoreline is easier on calmer mornings when the surface is easier to read and the exit stays simple.
