Burghsluis Oostbout is a shore dive in the Oosterschelde with strong tidal flow, a quick drop along stone and oyster beds, and plenty of North Sea life. The best route runs from the south point of the Oostbout toward the pier, then back through a current-driven landscape of anemones, starfish, crabs, and other hardier species. Plan it for low water, because high tide and the turning tide can pull you toward the storm surge barrier.
