Black Jack Reef is a long Coromandel reef system that stretches between beaches and offers easy local access to a productive temperate reef. Divers come for the mix of fish life, nudibranchs, and other macro subjects that still hold interest even where kina grazing has thinned parts of the seabed. It works best as a current-aware local reef dive rather than a fully sheltered beginner site.
