Best suited to experienced scuba divers who can manage steep wall terrain and depth discipline; the structure sits close to shore but still demands a conservative Fiordland plan.

About Dale Green

Dale Green is a dramatic Fiordland wall dive where steep reef close to shore quickly turns into overhangs, coral-covered faces, and very deep water below. The site is known for large black coral trees, red coral in the darker recesses, and the kind of fish-rich wall scenery that makes experienced divers slow down and work the structure carefully rather than rushing depth. It is one of the stronger examples of Fiordland's cold-water wall style, with rewarding life on the reef but little margin for casual depth drift.
