About Lidador - Archaeological UW Park

Lidador is a shallow archaeological wreck dive inside the Bay of Angra do Heroismo, where the remains of a 19th-century steamer rest close to shore in an easy circuit for beginners, refreshers, and snorkelers. The exterior of the wreck is the focus here: the bow is still recognizable, the site is marked by yellow buoys, and the protected structure attracts schools of salema and other small fish alongside octopus, nudibranchs, scorpionfish, and wrasse.
