Praia da Baleeira is a sheltered harbour beach beside Sagres' fishing port, with shallow reef and sandy patches that make it useful for try-dives and training. The cliffs on the left are the snorkelling side, while the middle stretch stays calmer when the rest of the Sagres coast is blown out. It is best treated as an easy shore-entry beach rather than an offshore dive destination.
