A local Sodwana dive operator is the normal way to reach 2 Mile Reef Pinnacles.
2 Mile Reef Pinnacles is a shallow boat-access reef in Sodwana Bay built around multiple pinnacles, ledges, and coral-covered structure that keep the dive interesting without turning it technical. The Old Woman Pinnacle is the signature feature, and the site is best enjoyed as a slow, scenic reef dive with green turtles, whitetip reef sharks, pufferfish, moray eels, and plenty of other marine life moving through the pillars and sand patches. It works well for newer divers and photographers, and the main planning consideration is surf launch logistics plus choosing calmer, drier months for the easiest conditions.
