Bajo de Ses Caletes
About Bajo de Ses Caletes
A sandy-bottom shoal off a secluded cove on a virgin stretch of coastline between Portinatx and Cala San Vicente. The formation starts shallow and slopes down to deeper sand, attracting marine life in the area. It is known for cephalopod egg-laying activity and scorpionfish, and in late spring to early summer Mediterranean slipper lobsters move into the shoal’s caves and cavities.
