El Sueno is a boat-access technical dive off the southern tip of Tenerife. The route drops from a volcanic plateau into a deep canyon with arches, orange coral growth, and black coral sections, so the site feels dramatic and vertical rather than relaxed. It is best treated as a guided boat dive for advanced teams who are comfortable with depth, medium current, and a careful ascent plan. Expect clear water, strong visual relief, and barracuda schools moving through the arch with goatfish, catfish, and trumpetfish around the slope.
