Fortaleza: boat reef wall off Caleta de Fuste
Typically run as a guided boat dive from Caleta de Fuste.
Fortaleza is a boat dive off Caleta de Fuste on Fuerteventura's east coast, centered on a shallow rocky reef crest and wall with scattered wreck debris. Divers work across broken volcanic rock, where barracuda, octopus, cuttlefish, nudibranchs, parrotfish, and groupers are the regular draws. It suits beginner-to-intermediate divers in calm weather, but open Atlantic exposure means swell and surface chop matter.
