Ko Ngam Yai เกาะง่ามใหญ่
Ko Ngam Yai is one of the well-known dive areas around Chumphon in southern Thailand, located roughly 16 km offshore. The islands have restrictions due to swallow bird nests, and visitors are not allowed to go up onto the island. In the water, the site features hard corals and schools of fish, with sightings that can include triggerfish, pufferfish, stingrays, flounder, and colorful dragonets. Snorkeling is specifically highlighted as a way to enjoy the reef life.
