About Koh Talang Steps
Koh Talang Steps is a stepped rocky reef near Koh Lipe, built from cascading granite outcrops and coral-covered ledges that descend through a series of terraces. It is a macro-friendly dive with hard coral, sea fans, nudibranchs, shrimp, moray eels, groupers, and the occasional coral cat shark tucked under the rocks. Boat dives usually work the shallower steps first and then move deeper only when current and visibility stay cooperative.
