Torsöfläcken
Boat-access seamount with kelp, plateaus, and possible current.
Local operator required
Boat logistics and current-aware route selection make the local operator important.
A cold-water West Coast seamount with kelp, plateaus, and a sandy base. The southern and eastern sides are usually preferred when current is present.
About Torsöfläcken
Torsöfläcken is an exposed West Coast seamount dive with a broad sloping profile, kelp on the top, and plateaus that step down toward a sandy bottom. The southern and eastern sides are usually the better choice when conditions are stable, and the site rewards divers who are comfortable planning for current and changing water movement. It is a good fit for cold-water scuba divers who like rocky structure and small marine life rather than a flat, featureless bottom.
