Fairlie Pier is a sheltered working-pier dive with a sandy-bottom training area and plenty of structure on the legs. It suits compact, operator-coordinated dives more than casual walk-ins because access is permission-only and the pier stays active with boat movements. The best approach is a tidy shore-style plan that keeps the dive controlled, uses a DSMB when you are under the structure, and leaves room to enjoy the temperate life on the pier.
