Rough rock entry and calm-day timing matter more than depth; once in, Long Point is a classic kelp-and-reef shore dive with strong visibility.

About Long Point

Long Point is a Palos Verdes shore dive at the old Marineland bluff access. It is a classic rocky reef and kelp site with good visibility on calm days, but the approach is rough and the entry is most comfortable for divers who can manage surf timing, surge, and a rocky carry from the bluff lot. Once in, the site rewards patient reef swimming and macro search work.
