The outer kelp and shallow rocky reef are the main draw, with the best water a bit off the beach rather than right at the shoreline. The shorter rock entry needs calm surf and sure footing, while the sand route is easier but adds swim time. Plan on higher tide, low swell, and some surge near the entry.
