Rubicon Point
Clear Tahoe freshwater dive with boulders, trees, and long visibility.
About Rubicon Point
Rubicon Point is a classic Lake Tahoe freshwater dive where large boulders, steep structure, and sunken trees create the feeling of an underwater forest dropping away into clear blue water. The site can be reached by boat or by swimming out from nearby shoreline access, and the main attraction is the terrain itself: giant rock features, submerged timber, and the long visual lines that Tahoe's clear water makes possible. It is less about dense wildlife than about cold-water scenery, clean freshwater visibility, and the contrast between pale granite, dark timber, and open blue depth.
