Shirley Brown (Wreck) is an offshore artificial reef off Orange Beach built from the former Capt. Shirley Brown party vessel. The wreck broke apart on the bottom, so divers get an open, broken profile with plenty of structure instead of a tight overhead swim. It is a boat dive for divers comfortable with deeper Gulf conditions and a planned ascent. Fish life builds quickly on the wreck, making it a straightforward charter stop when the sea is settled.
