About The Horseshoe
The Horseshoe is a sheltered quarry dive on Big Pine Key that gives divers and snorkellers an easy alternative when the offshore reefs are blown out. Instead of coral ridges and blue-water relief, the site offers a bowl-shaped limestone excavation with shallow edges, a deeper middle, and a few submerged objects that make it useful for training, refreshers, critter hunting, and simple relaxed shore sessions.
