Moored West End reef with sponges, stingrays, and reef life.
Tide Bottle is a West End St. Croix reef dive run by boat from Frederiksted. A mooring line sits over a sandy reef line that slopes west into richer sponges and reef structure, with stingrays, eels, lionfish, and other Caribbean reef life on the slope. The leeward side is usually calm and clear, but current can still build on the reef line, so it works best as a relaxed guided dive rather than an improvised swim.

Scuba Diving
Suitable for beginner certified divers; recommended to dive slowly to spot animals and reef features. Depth range runs from about 11 m down to 30 m.
Freediving
This is primarily a scuba site. Breath-hold diving only makes sense for very experienced divers comfortable in open water.
Snorkeling
Not a casual snorkel site; the useful reef sits on a boat-dive profile and is better handled from the boat.
