Buck Island Cove reef with terraces, schooling fish, and blue-water sightings.
Wye Reef is a reef on the southwest corner of Buck Island in Shipwreck Cove, formed from rock that slid into the bay from the bluff above. It is a broad, easy-to-read reef with coral-encrusted ledges, terraces, and blue-water edges that make it feel open without being technical. Divers come here for the structure, the fish life, and the chance of sharks, rays, and turtles cruising past the reef line.
