What It Feels Like
From Waikiki you can hit three marquee wrecks in two dives and still be back for lunch. South shore mornings are calmest, tradewinds building after midday. West O'ahu adds caverns and pinnacles, while the North Shore opens for excellent shore diving in late spring through early fall. Expect honu, eagle rays, endemic reef fish, and seasonal humpback whale song in winter.
