When To Go

Season planner for Pattaya (incl. Samaesarn / Sattahip)

Pattaya is warm year-round, but the most predictable water time is usually the dry season from November - April. During this window, seas are calmer and visibility is generally at its best, with water temperatures commonly around 27°C to 30°C. The monsoon season (May - October) can bring rougher seas and lower visibility, and some far-island trips may be cancelled. For snorkelers and freedivers, high tide and early mornings often produce the cleanest water and the calmest surface.
