Verudela cove with a shallow tunnel and clear water.
Verudela cove with a shallow tunnel and clear water.
The Beach is a rocky Verudela cove with a shallow tunnel, flat stone walls, and a short route out toward a deeper canyon line. It works best as a calm-day snorkeling or freediving spot, with clear water, pebble entry, and enough structure to keep the shallows interesting. When the southern wind builds, the same cove can turn lively and less comfortable.

Depth range, seasonality, and planning context.
Reported Depth

Depth Note

Best Season
Summer
Typical Conditions
Clear and calm on good days, but wind, surf, and peak-summer crowds can change the feel quickly.
Hazards, restrictions, and access requirements.
Key Hazards
Safety Notes
Watch the tunnel and stone roofs as overhead spaces, carry a light if you explore the cave, and avoid the cove when surf or south wind is building.
Access Restrictions
Shore access via stairs and rocky paths; not ideal when the sea is up.
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
Step-like depth changes from shallow water down to about 11 m and a maximum depth around 20–22 m suit discovery/intro dives.
Freediving
The route works best for careful freediving when the sea is calm and the tunnel can be judged safely.
Snorkeling
The shallow tunnel and rock walls are the main draw for snorkelers on calm days.
