About Faana Thila
Faana Thila is a small inside-reef dive in South Male Atoll with a west-side drop-off, hard-coral reef top and plenty of overhangs. The reef is a good match for a torch, because the most interesting pockets sit in the shaded sections and along the edge. Marine life is lively, with octopus, turtles, scorpionfish, fusiliers, snappers, trevallies and tuna moving through the schools. It is a reef dive that rewards careful pacing more than speed.
