About Christ Of The Abyss
Christ of the Abyss is the signature statue dive in San Fruttuoso Bay, reached by boat from the Portofino coast. The site is compact and easy to plan, with a sheltered main route around the statue and an optional deeper wall section for divers who want more structure. Expect a classic Mediterranean mix of fish life, Posidonia edges, and a famously busy stop where calm seas and patient timing matter more than speed.
