Punta dell’Arpa
About Punta dell’Arpa
Punta dell’Arpa lies about 1.5 miles west of the port of Ustica and is marked at the surface by the “scoglio del cornutone”. Underwater, two large rocks rise from a sandy bottom around 40 m, with walls covered in large red gorgonian branches. Fish life includes shoals of banded bream, salema, and clouds of damselfish. With careful searching over the Posidonia meadow, pipefish can also be encountered.
