About Mitsune
Mitsune is a tide-driven dive point on the north side of Mikomoto Island, where three rock pinnacles create a dynamic drift dive. The west side is comparatively flatter with a gentle slope into deeper water, while the east side is more clustered and better known for shark action when the currents line up. From summer through fall the site is known for seasonal shark activity, including hammerheads and other large pelagic species.
