About Eel Canyon
Eel Canyon is a shore-access canyon dive off Aqaba, where sandy gutters and coral shelves create a route that feels narrow and maze-like rather than open-water. Garden eels give the site its name, and the ledges add lionfish, rays and other Red Sea life around the crevices. It works well as a controlled shore entry or boat drop, but the canyon shape, depth and buoyancy discipline matter more than speed.
