The Hilma Hooker is a 236-foot Dutch freighter that sank just offshore in 1984 after a varied history that included use as a drug runner. It is widely regarded as Bonaire’s most popular wreck dive. Marine life is commonly seen in and around the wreck, including nurse and reef sharks, possible eagle rays, turtles, and large schools of fish.
