Kerkweg, Den Osse is a classic Grevelingen shore dive with a jetty entry onto oyster beds, reefballs, and a varied hard substrate that turns into a busy temperate habitat. The site is especially useful for practice dives and repeat visits because the entry is simple, the terrain changes across short distances, and the shallow structures hold most of the action. Expect crabs, pipefish, sea dahlias, gobies, flatfish, eels, and other North Sea life around the reefballs and stone. The main planning variables are visibility, parking, and avoiding nets or other fishing gear when you move along the jetty and breakwater.
