Quiet shore dive with sand, silt, and a tide-sensitive drift option.
Noordbout is a quiet shore dive at the point of a pier in the Oosterschelde, where divers enter at the head of the dam, swim out, and work the left side of the structure. The bottom is mostly sand and silt with scattered stones and sparse growth, so it feels more like a practical tidal shoreline dive than a showpiece site. Experienced divers sometimes use it as a drift route toward Zuidbout when the tide and compass work line up.

Scuba Diving
A controlled shore dive works best for experienced divers, and a drift toward Zuidbout is possible when timing and navigation are good.
Freediving
Not a good freedive target because the entry, current, and visibility favor scuba.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling is limited by current, depth, and muted visibility.
