Simpson Rock
A sea pinnacle with a small exposed rock above the surface that continues steeply underwater. Around 20β30 m it forms a small platform, then drops away beyond 60 m. The site is described as extremely exposed, with strong currents and rough sea conditions. It is noted for heavy fish life, including large schools of New Zealand demoiselle, and manta ray sightings are possible during warmer water periods.
