Taupiri Bay
Taupiri Bay features a sandy, gently sloping seabed with a substantial reef structure that arcs out from the left side of the shore. With a favourable tide, the site reaches a maximum depth of about 8β10 m. The sandy areas can host eagle rays and stingrays, while the reef is home to juvenile goatfish and snapper, along with parore, squid, and pipefish.
