Dive Spot Guide•
Olo
Olo is a northeast Apo Island reef with strong current and macro life.
Local operator required
A local operator is the right way to time current, choose the route, and keep the run inside the day's conditions.
Olo is usually a guided boat dive for experienced divers; plan around the current and the reef's wall-and-slope layout.
About Olo
Olo is the northeast Apo Island reef, shaped by two walls and a sandy slope that keeps the dive moving. It suits experienced divers who are comfortable in current and want dense coral plus reliable macro life. The reef can feel exposed once the flow builds, so it rewards calm timing. Expect nudibranchs, shrimp and frogfish in the cracks, with turtles and mixed reef fish on calmer runs.

Local Intel For Olo
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
Best as a drift-aware reef dive for experienced divers. Expect a 15-30m route across two walls and a sandy coral slope, with the guide choosing the safest line for the day's current.
Freediving
Only for very experienced freedivers with a guide and calm conditions; the current and depth band make it a poor casual freedive site.
Snorkeling
Not a casual snorkel site. Only consider it on very calm days with a guide who knows the reef and current.
