About Dial Rock

Dial Rock is a shallow Saldanha Bay rock pinnacle used for calm shore-entry dives. After a low-surge entry, divers usually do a long surface swim before settling over the rocky reef and kelp outcrop, where rockfish, octopus, cuttlefish, nudibranchs, sea stars, seals, and other critters make it a classic entry-level dive with an easy pace and relaxed planning feel.
