About La Bota
La Bota is an underwater mountain about a mile northwest of Es Vedrà, rising from deeper water to within centimeters of the surface. In very calm conditions, waves can be seen breaking over its shallowest point, creating a dramatic pinnacle-style dive profile. Marine life sightings can include barracuda, tuna, octopus, moray eels, conger eels, small crustaceans, and schools of small fish.
