Good for divers who like rock structure, cave work and macro life; calm sea state matters more than depth on this local boat mooring.

About La Redonda

La Redonda is a rocky Basque Coast boat dive built around a shallow outcrop, a small cave and the remains of old iron cargo. The route works north and east from the mooring before looping back around the rock, so the dive is more about rock structure and careful navigation than wide-open water. Buoyancy matters around the cave, the chimney-style exit and the return ledges. Expect plenty of macro life and a local-operator setup that works best when sea state stays calm.

Scuba Diving

Steady buoyancy matters around the cave, the chimney-style exit and the return across the flat rock.

Freediving

Not a primary freedive target; the cave and moored route reward scuba more than casual breath-hold exploration.

Snorkeling

Only the shallowest calm-water edges are realistic; the cave and moored route are not a casual snorkel line.
