About Ullastre I
Ullastre I is the closest of the three Ullastres to the coast, a boat-access seamount off Llafranc with a buoyed descent, steep gorgonian-covered faces, and rock-studded slopes that reward calm buoyancy. The north face is the main feature, and the broader profile gives newer divers a manageable route while still giving experienced divers plenty of structure to work with when sea state is settled. Open-water planning and a local briefing matter because the site can feel more exposed than a sheltered shore reef.
