Coral Gardens
Chole Bay coral gardens for easy snorkeling and reef life.
Boat access from Mafia Island; sheltered coral gardens suit snorkeling first, with current and tide timing still worth watching.
About Coral Gardens
Coral Gardens is the Chole Bay coral zone in Mafia Island Marine Park, known for shallow coral bommies, colorful fish, and easy photo-friendly water. The site sits between Chole Wall and Kinasi Wall, with enough structure for relaxed snorkeling and diving while the bay stays sheltered by surrounding islands. Plan around tide changes and boat timing: the water is usually calm, but current and visibility can shift as the tide turns.
