Lone Ranch Beach is a kelp-lined shore dive with surf and boulder access.
Lone Ranch Beach is an exposed Oregon coast shore dive in Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor with kelp fields, rocky structure, and a beach entry that can turn into boulder crawling when conditions are rough. The site is best for divers who are comfortable with surf timing, cold water, and a more physical shoreline approach. Once in, the payoff is a classic north-coast kelp dive with bottom life, seals, and the occasional passing whale.
