About Lester Beach
Lester Beach is the classic shore approach to Lake Tahoe's Rubicon wall-and-boulder terrain, beginning from a small west-shore beach and building into a cold freshwater route with giant granite blocks, a long surface swim, and dramatic structure once you reach the point. It fits best as a calm-weather Tahoe shore plan for divers who are comfortable with altitude, cold exposure, and a more committed swim rather than expecting an easy casual beach lap.
