About Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory
A large indoor neutral-buoyancy pool used for astronaut training at NASA’s Sonny Carter Training Facility near the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The facility includes a full-scale mock-up of the International Space Station inside the pool. The pool measures 202 ft long by 102 ft wide and reaches 40 ft (about 12 m) deep, holding roughly 6.2 million gallons of water.
