About Qualmann Tugs

Qualmann Tugs is an offshore Miami artificial reef cluster built from multiple sunk vessels and steel structures, including two pusher tugs, sailboat hulls, dredge pontoons, and a yacht. Rather than one single wreck silhouette, the dive feels like a spread-out wreck playground where divers move between separate pieces of structure looking for schooling fish and larger predators. The site is best known for reef fish stacked around the metalwork and for the chance of seeing amberjacks, groupers, snappers, and bull sharks cruising the area. It is a straightforward wreck-style boat dive rather than a penetration site, but the depth, offshore setting, and variable visibility make it more suitable for confident open-water divers than for first-day beginners.
