Three Fingers is a boat-accessed Kauai reef made of three lava fingers that rise off the seafloor just outside the harbor. The ridges create a straightforward but visually interesting route with coral-covered slopes, sheltered pockets, and enough relief to make the site feel bigger than its depth band suggests. It is a beginner-friendly boat dive when the water is calm, but it still rewards experienced divers and photographers. Visibility is usually good, current is usually light, and the fish life includes schooling reef fish, sea turtles, dragon morays, eagle rays, and other shallow-reef critters.
