When To Go

Season planner for Fuvahmulah

Fuvahmulah sits in open ocean, so monsoon patterns affect sea state more than water temperature. Northeast monsoon months (roughly Dec to Apr) are often calmer and drier, while southwest monsoon months (roughly May to Oct) bring more wind and rain. Water typically stays around 27°C to 30°C year-round. Tiger shark diving runs year-round, but calmer seas make wall dives, freediving, and snorkeling easier to schedule.
