Croisette, La Carrière Vodecée is a former red-marble quarry near Philippeville with a calm freshwater basin and a well-known shallow end for fish sightings. The site combines a beginner-friendly slope with steeper walls, ledges, and deeper sections that make navigation and buoyancy work more interesting as you drop lower. Divers come for the carp and other freshwater life around the shallows as well as the industrial relics left on the bottom. Plan on registered, paid access during opening hours, with cold-water planning and visibility that can shift after rain.
