About Veleiro Yemanja
The Yemanjá is an iron sailboat that was intentionally sunk in May 1999 off a beach, resting at about 19 m. The wreck is partially dismantled, but recognizable sections remain, including masts and other structural elements. It serves as shelter for schools of small fish and is also visited by nurse sharks, rays, and turtles.
